04 Sierra Crew, can I add airbag disable switch?

As I understand, crew cab trucks did not come w/ the airbag disable switch bc there is a backseat for the littles. Unfortunately I can't fit all my littles in the back alone and need to plant 1 in the front.

 

According to the manual airbag equipped vehicles come w/ the passenger presence system OR the disable switch. As far as I can tell I don't have either. So there is no way for me to disable the airbags.

 

NHTSA will grant variants for adding a switch. If I were to pursue that, can the switch be easily added to a crew? Is the wiring there or is the harness different in a crew cab? Is this something the dealer would even do? NHTSA says the work has to be done by the dealer or an authorized shop. That's to keep things on the "up and up".

 

Additionally, what about adding the passenger presence system if I can find the right seats? Is the wiring already there?

 

Lastly, I understand the front seat isn't the safest place for the little ones. We have a Yukon XL that does the majority if kiddo transport services but sometimes I have to pick them up from daycare and drive 4 miles home. On days I do that I want to be as safe as I can while using my truck.
