gauge cluster problems

i have a 2003 silverado 1500,and i know that these year trucks were known for having bad gauge clusters but i cant figure my problem out.So basically my cluster works perfectly fine but whenever it rains out it doesnt work until later in the day after it dries out,also the dash information thing will be turned on and frozen in place when i get in my truck in the morning even though i dont have my keys in it.ive checked everything and cant figure it out
