Fuel pressure sender

If any of you an electric fuel pressure gauge I need some help. Where did you mount the sender? This is for a electric not mechanical gauge. Is there anywhere easy to mount it with out spilling gas all over my self?

Weeeellll after doing some research, I've found 2 ways to do it.

A. Replace the schrader valve on the fuel rail, with an appropriatly(sp) sized fitting to fit the sender.

 

or

 

B.

Cut the rubber fuel line before the fuel rail. Get a T with with a 1/8th NPT female fitting on it insert and bam I'm done.

 

First I am gonna try A. I don't like the idea of splicing the fuel line, even though it's a fairly easy fix if I screw up. I figure it may take some coming and going to the parts store to get the right combinations of stuff to put it on the schrader valve, but I'm not gonna (knock on wood) have to cut any lines or anything.

 

I'm thinking I may be able to just replace the valve with the sender without anything special, but then my super cool plastic manifold cover might not fit on.

 

of course the other problems I am probably going to run into is the wires from the sender to the gauge may not be long enough. Which would be my luck.

 

I'll let you know how it turns out and try to snap some pics. Sorry for the rambling, but what the hell else am I supposed to do at 3am, when I should be in bed.
