Painting gauge pod

The gauge pod I'm installing came in black....I want to paint it to match my interior.....(Ricer Pink) .....Is there any type of paint I should be looking for? Also should I sand it lightley to scuff it up a little....or apply any type of primer???

if you want to rattle can it you can get the new Krylon Fusion

 

if not you have to sand it up, then use DuPont Plas-Stik adhesion promoter, then primer it, and then paint
