Need to mount something in my truck.

Looking to mount a phone holder below the drivers side vent, actually for a plow controller. Curious as I can't get my hand behind the panel, is there anything I should worry about airbags etc? I will be using self tapping screws for this. Thanks!

Nope. If you remove the side panel, you can then grab the from vent and pop it off.

The part directly below the silver trim is part of the dash. The knee bolster where your hood latch it can come off. 2 torx screws and it pops off.
