15 2500hd 4wd 6.0 transmission shutter

My 15's transmission just started shuttering and now slipping some even after I changed filter and fluid. Has 180,000 on it.

It's unfortunate to say but it could be slowly on it's way out. I can only speculate without driving it, seeing it and having it hooked up to a scanner.

 

I wouldn't take it to a dealership but I would consider going to a highly reputable transmission shop that knows the in's and out's of that transmission. They will know exactly what to test and watch with a scan tool to see if something is indeed internal and needing to be fixed/rebuilt.
