Got a new Toy

Well got a deal on a New Posi today... A ASV Posi is like a bobcat but with rubber tracks, I know bobcat has T series bobcats with rubber tracks but anyways..

Papaw decided time to trade in our 4810 Posi on a RC100 Posi. So I loaded her up on the Kronkite trailer and off to Cat I go. I thought our old posi was heavy on regular hitch.. phhww this new machine pushed me all over the road. The 4810 weights I think about 8,000lbs the new one goes over 10,000lbs... So huge pullng difference.. Anyways here the site to look at. I need to buy a dang digital camera...

Hey- it's a Caterpillar product, AND it's built in Minnesota. Good buy!!

Yeah right... We can buy clothing and such, but the discount isn't that great. No free stuff... If we do get someting free, it's a pen or something lame like that.

That's cool. Two of my sisters work there and my bro-in-law used to work there. What plant do you work at? They work at the one near Robbinsdale on 81.

I don't know much about exc equipment but I was reading that link. Sounds cool how there's no steel parts in the tracks, they're all rubber.

What kind of trailer are you using and how do you secure the machine down to it when you're towing. Just wondering. I have a set of 3" nylon ratchet straps I use with our JD 4100 utility tractor but it only weighs about 2500lbs with the mower on it.
