1995 PS pump removal procedure?

Recommended Posts

Found my answer is another post. Should have searched first.

To make a long story short, I have a broken bolt on the DS exhaust manifold that needs replaced. I need to get the manifold off, but the PS pump bracket is on the front two bolts.

There are no holes in the pulley to get at the pump mount bolts.

The alum bracket that holds the alt and ps pump has three bolts, one of which is covered by the ps pump, therefore unreachable.

The bracket on the backside of the ps pump won't come off unless the pump can be loosened.

Looks like I have to remove the pulley from the front of the pump.

Is it pressed on only?

Anyone know a better way? This simple looking repair is turning ugly.
