Interior lights dim?

My interior lights are not very bright on my 2019 GMC SLT. They are the white colored LED’s. Also, my back up camera does not light up the are behind the truck very good at all. Are there ways to fix this?

I have found the same thing...dome lights are very dim.  Anyone remedied this yet?

Nope.  Were stuck with what we have. Bulbs are soldered to the pc board and can't be changed.  I did add foot well lights.  You would think for $68 thousand GMC would add them but no I had to do it my self.

Well, if you really want it brighter, make it happen.  remove the pc board, unsolder the existing bulbs, and solder in new brighter ones.   You probably want to do some electrical testing to see what kind of power the existing bulbs are getting, and figure out if you can just put in brighter led's right there, or if you need a separate relay/mount to provide more power to your new bulbs.

 

I soldered in led's/resistors in all the interior controls that had incandescent bulbs in my truck, made them a lot brighter, and just recently soldered in a small circuit so that the 4wd led would light up properly as I shift between 2wd and 4wd (I upgraded my truck to 4wd a couple years ago, but couldn't find any dealership that would reflash the truck with support for 4wd).
