6.0l swap

Hi guys , im new to the chevy world , i own a 98 c1500 regular cab long box with a 5.7 , im putting time and money to fix it up and well I've been told any transmission can be swap so i purchased a parts truck 94 v6 to swap the manual trans in mine wich i should do soon and now im wondering would it be possible to swap a 6.0l engine in mine with that manual trans from the 94 , if so do i need any thing special like an adapter to mount the trans to engine , drive shaft , any advice i should now , thanks
