To all 03 owners

Hello i am new at posting but not to the forum.

Just wondering if any has any problems with there 03 yet.

I have one with 11000 miles on it and some things starded to happen. First thing was a stabilizer bar bracket borke from the frame. I asked the dealer why this happen and he does not know all i do it drive back and forth from work. The second thing is the driver side speaker has to be replaced. This all happen in two weeks. I hope this does not mean i am in for more things to happen. Just wanted to know if any one has any problems on there truckes. I like the truck it is a lot better then the s10 i used to drive. Thanks for the help and this is a great site i learnd a lot .

I can see having problems with the speakers, they aint worth the paper they are made of... but for suspension and frame damage to occur already, I wouldn't be nice with the dealership.

The only problem I've had with mine was an Evap canister failing (emissions valve). That happened at roughly 2100 miles. Now I have almost 6k miles, and its been fine ever since.

Only problem here is a bad spring in the ash tray and it did not close all the way. None else with 19000 miles.

Been to the stealership twice for A/C and now I have something loose and rattling that I can feel through the steering wheel 16,500 miles not to mention the lack of power in the 4.8 but hey i'm not one to complain.

Just over 3k miles with no problems, however the dealer has yet to get me a front license plate bracket!

Just about 6 months for my 03 and no problems

Our other two trucks identical to mine no problems

Pops 2500 hd he got in december no problems except for the d**n knock (almost 30k miles)

Welcome aboard. I got here with the same kind of interest- what should I look for to break on the truck. After a while, you'll see that there's so much more than just sharing stories or complaints about what goes wrong. Check out the various sections of the site. Zane and the mods do a great job.

I`ve got 14K on mine and the only problem I`ve had was the seat cover pulled out from underneath the trim surrounding the shoulder belt on the drivers side. Fixed under warranty.

That and the dorks at the dealership can`t seem to re program for my new tire/ wheel combo....

13,300 miles. Zero problems. Goes over pasture roads, mud roads in 4WD. Cruises with a caddylacky ride on the freeway. Most awesome pickup I have had.

Ummm, the Bridgestone Revos and Velvet Ride shackles help a lot, though. I really enjoy this truck.
