Is the front left and right bottom area of the trans pan of a 2019  2500 duramax indented?

Mine looks like someone took 1 1/8  socket (or so) held against the front bottom left and right side

and then gorilla smacked it. Just seems like an odd design.

If no one can comment I'll try and figure out how to post a picture of it.

800 miles on it so far.

Thanks...Steve
