Bed view camera/trailer camera wiring

I'm trying to figure some options out for towing.  It looks like the bed view camera option is what adds the wiring for a trailer camera.  Can this be added by the dealer?  I really want the ttpms, so it's on my must haves, but the camera would be nice, but I'm not seeing many trucks with the bed view option.   Also since I'm hearing that going with the cheaper trailer camera set up, you only get 8seconds of rear viewing at a time, so it may not be worth fooling with.
