2016 denali 3500, front park assist and forward collision alert problems

All,

I am new to the forum and new to the GM truck world. Recently picked up a 16 3500 denali 6.6 and hoping someone here could help identify a problem or point me to a thread that may already have addressed this.

Situation- Front parking assist does not alert me when I get close to an object, checked this several times with no indicators from the seat or beeps. I have turned the park assist on an off, also adjusted the indicator method. It does show objects close on the instrument panel as being detected but no beep indicators? I also do not get the read heads up light on the widow as I have see before test driving other trucks.

I did listen for the sensors and do hear them clicking that they are sensing but that may not mean much.

I also have found the forward collision alert system either is malfunctioning or simply does not work well. I tested this several times now and I have never received a warning. I have adjusted the distance as well as reset and turned this on and off but no change. The only indicator of a problem was I had a "Service front camera" warning show on the panel for a quick minute but have not seen it again. The window is clean and everything has been turned off and turned back on.

I assume these two are most likely related but I have not see any posts specifically identify thing these issues together.

Any ideas or assistance would be helpful. again I recently purchased the vehicle and the bumper to bumper expired 10/31/19. I did call the local service manager and he told me to bring it in as it is close to warranty and they would see if GM would help with repairs as it is close to when the warranty expired however I would get a diagnostic charge in addition to whatever else we found...
