Radio does not come back after ending calls

Just searched the forum for the text messaging crap they took away from us.  But had too many words to use the search feature for this question.  When I end a call, I have to physically tap the radio button to get sound to come through again.  Why can't it just automatically go back to whatever it was doing when the call came in. 2020 2500 HD.
