Ticking sound during cold engine

In temperatures below 40, I crank my 2017 Sierra 5.3 6 speed trans. I put in drive and as I increase spreed/rpms I hear a slight ticking sound in the dash area that is relative to the engine/trans when loading up. Once the outside temps are above 60 or engine is warm I dont hear it. I thought Lifters but now read on. I think is relative to trans.

I also noticed at 60-70 mph I have a shudder or vibration in the drive line. If I throw into neutral it goes away. I took to dealer with 55,300 miles Monday. They drove and said it sounded like the torque converter. They pull dipstick and found small metal particles in the oil. They pulled converter and replaced oil yesterday. I cranked the truck this morning and the ticking was event louder than a week ago. The shudder/vibration is still there after replacement.

Any others with this issue?

Could it be that they are two separate issues? Just had a cold 'tick' fixed on my 2015. Warped flex plate cover. They are plastic. Would rattle like a lifter falling out of it for ten minutes then get quite. Only did is on days under 40F or so.

No clue on the shudder.
