coilover conversion

so I was looking at my suspension and it seems like someone could make a coilover shock for stock lower A-arm and just maybe a bolt on or weld shock tower for top.....in which case you fit maybe a Bilstein, eibach struts ( shock and spring) or some of the medium level struts on without having to purchase the $5k coilover kit.....I am sure the BDS and LSK kits are incredible with kings and foxes but it puts a lot of people out of market with pricetag…..or maybe even just some bolt on parts to stock lower arm to convert it to standard shock mount.....seems kinda crazy the only option is high end kits when it doesn't look like it would be super difficult....what am I missing?

 

A Bilstein, eibach adj strut in coilover type strut without torsion bars would be a huge improvement although am sure kings and foxes are better but still it could bring more people into this market while dramatically improving the ride and adjustability of the front end....or struts/coilovers with with optional mounting clevis.....I believe king and fox already have this available

 

is it because the suspension companies have so many cars to build shocks for they just don't have time to make these kinds of kits available?
