P2230 Code

My 2015 Z71 silverado is showing the P2230 code for the Barometric pressure sensor. I have replaced the sensor with no luck. However the check engine light did stay off for 2 days then came back on. Same code. With that being said. The truck does also have a firm shift from 2-3, but only does it when I'm at 2400 RPM or higher. When I'm below it shifts normally. But you can sometimes hear it. After I replaced the Barometric sensor, it would shift perfectly. Even 2-3. But once the check engine light came back on, the hard shift started again. It does have a new transmission that my local dealership put in about 5 weeks ago, and since then I have put about 4k miles on it. I just don't know what else it could be.
