My 2nd row seat(40) wont go back to the upright position. The cable pull, lever, nor button will let the back rest go back upright.   Any suggestions how to make it release. Frustrating

Try a Google search. There was one with a similar issue and he had a broken seat cable. He had pictures and had to grab the cable with some sort of tool he made. Good luck.
