P0455 -acts like brakes on away from stop

2006 Chevrolet tahoe 4wd -ABS, Traction light & Service Stability system message comes up, only code in system is P0455. problems comes & goes but worse on rough roads or in town. according to what i have read i believe Steering Position Sensor is faulty. lately though a new problem has occured, vehicle acts like brakes are on or trans slipping when pulling away from stops.... only when lights are on & code in system. If vehicle is shut off & restarted seems to work fine for a while. if it is sensor at fault, does anybody have a procedure for replacement. only 2007+ replcement is shown on YOUTUBE

I think you've got more codes...

 

You need access to a scanner that can read the ABS module and other modules in the truck.  

 

P0455 is large EVAP leak detected and would only turn on the check engine light.

Code P0455 is normally seen with a loose gas cap. The symptoms you describe do not appear to relate to the code. What indicators do you see on your dash?
