16" or 17" & Why?

mostly just depends on what you want to do with the tires. Anything above 16 inch for big tires (like 35) if you lift it is too big and makes the tire look smaller. If you just want "show" rims then 17-20 is what you're going to be wanting to get, as the 16" will be a standard size.

 

Get what I mean?

 

Lifted Trucks - 15/16" (to keep the tire looking bigger)

Lowered/Stock/Show Trucks - 17" or above.

Mostly just the looks. I needed tires and found a deal on some Escalade 17" rims (all 4 for $250) and then got a set of Goodyear AT/s tires for $135 each.

I guess I just got tired of me Tahoe looking like every other one in town and wanted something different but didn't want to be too flashy or spend the money for aftermarket rims.
