Stero head unit replace

I have a stock head unti that is not working half of the time, the touch part is hit and miss

I was looking at the same size new unit for JVC to replace it with, any thoughts?

How about a little more information on your truck?

 

You could have a HMI module that is failing, maybe a bad touch screen. The display is nothing but a monitor much like your home computer.
