satelite radio conversion

Does anyone know if it is possible to utilize the old sat radio that is behind the glove box of my 2004 gmc sierra by using an adapter plug to convert the existing plug that was in the old radio to the new sat radio plug that is on modern Alpine head units.  Even an wiring diagram of the old cable would be a plus.  thanks for what ever you may have.

I believe pac-audio makes a harness that will

allow You to keep Your sat radio. It plugs in where the factory radio plugs in at and I believe it adds a little basic display with rca audio outs. It may not be on their website but give them a call if they don’t have the harness they will know if it’s possible or not regardless.
