Question for those that have Blu-Ray Rear Entertainment Screen

Hello all , I was wondering if any of you that have RES  ( Blu-Ray Player with Rear Entertainment )

Have tried to add Headrest Screens to the Factory System ??? If Yes could you Please chime in

& share the info you have to do so .  Thank You in Advance ...

Well today I tried plugging a monitor into the cable that goes to the flip down .

I used a splitter to see what would happen . Sorry to say the monitor did not

get a signal from the USB plug & of course the flip-down continued to work .

I guess I figured it wouldn't be that easy  , but it was worth a try ...

 

 

I honestly can't believe No One has tried to add Headrest screens in place of

the flip down ...

 

Anyone have any suggestions ???

You might need to purchase a harness and the headrest. Have you looked at GM parts direct to see what all goes to the headrest?

GM'S headrest setup is a completely separate individual system that is not connected to the front screen

or controlled by the front screen . It is controlled by the rear passengers & the audio only plays thru the

headphones that come with the rear setup ...

If your asking about the headrest set ???

as far as I know is they are 2 separate screens capable of doing separate task  ...
