Question about upcoming air bag recall

[DRS 95 Silverado]

Looks like my '14 will be getting the passenger side airbag recall at some point. Do they have to remove the whole dash pad to get at it? Or do they replace it through the glove box area? I hate the thought of them taking the whole dash cover off just for something that will probably never cause a problem.

Upper glove box comes out. Passenger inflator module/airbag then unbolts and comes up out of the dash. Dash pad stays in place.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Pretty simple. I'll bet its a long time before they get around to mine.
