what is this wire

Wire came loose now wipers do not work and can not find where this plugs into or if it evens goes to the wipers

what vehicle are you showing us , and are you talking about the big plug or the white connector, with a little more information , someone here might be able to help you .

 

i have a 98 k1500 and it looks like your near the fuse box right below hood hinge, if so , i could look at mine and see if i knew we are looking at same thing

98 gmc sierra its the brown wire with white plug hanging down its on driver side against the firewall

ok , ill look today, but i dont think it has anything to do with wipers
