Trouble with autostart, remote and app.

I’ve been having issues lately trying to autostart my truck. The key fob has new batteries and seems to sometimes work from 10-15 feet away. It used to be 50-100’ depending on sight lines. When it doesn’t, it will just lock the truck then seems to lock me out for a minute or two. I can’t unlock the truck or anything with the key fob. 
the app sometimes works and when it doesn’t it says off where you would start the truck. After I delete the app and reinstall I can use the app. Anyone else having issues?

One thing I’ve noticed pertaining to the app is that you have to sign out and sign back in constantly since the latest complete over haul on the app. Before the new look you would just need to update it every once in a while. I would try signing out and back in as much of a pain as it is though, happens with both my HD and Wife’s Tahoe.
