Don't get me wrong, as I believe there are no finer people in America than our brave soldiers, but you can be damned sure if a democratic President liberated the Afgans from the Taliban, liberated 25 million Iraqis from a brutal dictator and stopped the torture/rape/murder of thousands more Iraqis, and led the nation back from 9/11, Time Magazine would most certainly make him their Man of the Year.

Just my $.02.

Didnt TIME want to use Bin Laden for Person of the Year? After I heard this, I no longer follow or care about this kind of stuff that the media puts out.

In 1938, Time selected Adolf Hitler as their Man of the Year. They say it's given to the person that has the biggest impact on that year's events.

Time (as far as I know) choose "influential" people for their "Man of the Year" award....Good or bad.

Tell me, who has shaped the world more....I would have to go with Osama on that one.

But they aren't quite that stupid :D

I agree, but there is NO reason in this world why he should receive ANY type of award!!! And for that to be from an American Press...thats just a kick in the nuts that really makes me angry!!!
