I'm about to change the transmission fluid in 2016 1500 Z71 5.3. What is the best Transmission fluid to use. I know the 6L80 has issues, currently looking into resolving it, but until then I'm going to just change the fluid.

All the off the shelf dexron VI fluids will work well but I prefer a full synthetic and have been running AMSOIL ATL  ATF in our 2016 Suburban since new.  I'm going to switch over my 2019 Silverado here soon. 

 

My 2002 had AMSOIL in the transmission since new back when I purchased in Nov of 2001 and the transmission was in great shape according to the UOA at 200,000 miles when I sold it.
