Flappers open position on stock muffler

i have put on a flowmaster 44 its way to loud and you hear the drone, it sounds sick when afm kicks in.

 

so im thinking of cutting off both flappers and putting back stock muffler , anyone tried that on here.

If you’re looking for a little noise go with the big block 50 muffler. From the few I installed it was the quietest and also the lowest sound in cab. 
 

Remember the flappers also help with the cylinder deactivation noise, so removing them no matter what may increase that sound
