2019 and up dyno tune

I just got off the phone with Matt at National Speed here in Wilmington NC.  He was really nice and what got me to call was I got an email from National Speed.  I'm on the mailing list. That they tuned a TRX.  Well that got me to thinking if they can tune a new Ram then I wonder what the cost is to tune our new 2019 and up GM trucks.

 

He said they would need my truck for 4 days and that they can unlock the ECU and dyno tune for $1900.  It would drive and respond way better than stock. 

 

He also said they don't mess with the transmission, that they found out that it learns as it goes and catches up.

 

He also said that for some reason, when they unlock the computer to tune it, the keys have to be reprogrammed.  That's crazy but hey we are talking GM here.
