Wiring help

Hello everyone

i have a 2020 trailboss lt. I want to add a lightbar to the front and want it wired into my headlight switch. My truck did not come with the lights in the mirrors so I ordered a new switch that has the task light button. Does anyone know if this can be done?

Most likely not since the switch runs through the BCM as a trigger signal to enable the relay to turn the lights on. If you don't have the option, the output won't work. I bought the GM accessory fog lights for my Custom Trail Boss. I have it all installed and it comes with a new headlight switch with the fog light switch. It won't work until I have the dealer enable the option in the BCM. I haven't had time to get to the dealer to have them enabled.

Shoot! I was hoping I could follow the video by tinkering fox but his truck was a 2016 I believe.

T1s are different from the previous generation in many ways.  It's as if GM was bridging to the new electrical architecture that is being debuted in the 22s.
