How common are these trucks with 5 speeds because I tries looking for a front driveshaft and scrappers around Canada said they haven't even seen one with a manual before

They are by far more rare than an automatic truck. I've seen a few manual trucks before but are few and far between.

 

If you can't find anything you will likely need a driveshaft shop to either repair your current driveshaft or build you a new one.

 Correct repair or have one built. It's pretty simple for a drive line shop and doesn't cost an arm and a leg

Gm had a aftermarket driveshaft it is around 1500 bucks with shipping
