Mirror

My wifes '03 Tahoe's electrochromic rear view mirror went crazy. The other night it was snowing and the mirror flashed on and off and all the symbol lines in the display would show then go to normal showing the temp and direction and ICE. It would just do this over and over. It hasn't done it since then but was wondering if anyone knows what the problem if there is one might be. Was it trying to tell us something????? Thanks

That's wild! I had the same problem with the one in my 2500HD on Sunday night too. I've never seen anything like it before, either on this truck or the one in my Tahoe. If I'm not mistaken, the climate control also kept shutting off in my 2500HD at the same time the mirror was acting up. I only went about 3.5 miles into town and shut the truck off. Two hours later when I returned home, it was functioning correctly. I was wondering if shutting the truck off reset something in the electronics for the mirror/compass/climate control.
