Low oil pressure 2014 sierra 5.3

Recommended Posts

First thing to do is check reported oil pressure on a scanner. Then if still showing low, it could be many things. Consider last time you did oil change, truck mileage, is everything else working fine? If you are going to find trouble yourself you should check out some You Tube videos for guidance.

I'll check it with the scanner. Information on these trucks as far as oil pressure is very limited. All my searches end up with 13 down trucks. The oil has about 3000 miles on it and everything else seems to be fine. I can only find the pressure sensor on the front of the motor so it appears there is only one sender
