Schrader gets sponsor

Red Baron Pizza will be the primary sponsor for Nextel Cup Series veteran Ken Schrader and BAM Racing's No. 49 Dodges this entire season, sources confirmed Thursday to ThatsRacin.com.

The move should allow the team to expand on the foundation it laid in 2003, its first full-season in Cup racing.

Schrader has run well in this week's preseason test at Daytona. He was fastest in one-lap qualifying runs Thursday, and was 15th fastest in Thursday's late afternoon drafting session.

I was not wanting him to get a sponsor, that way he could do this full time instead of just selected events!!

I was kinda hoping the rumor of him driving the 30 car was true. Schrader is one of my favorites.

Red Baron is a subsidiary of Schwans, so you weren't far off the first time. I'm wondering if it'll be Schwans paint the entire season or a mixture of their companies throughout the season.
