Another Cruise Control issue 2014 Sierra

So I bought this 2014 SWB Sierra 5.3 6 speed and I lowered it and put on some headers and it has been a blast to drive! Then one day I get in it and the light on the dash for the cruise control will not come on and the cruise control will not work at all. I have read about brake light switches and bad buttons but I thought I would check with you all and see if anyone here has fixed theirs and how they did it. I had an issue like this with a Toyota once and it was the clocking ring behind the air bag. I drive this every day so I can't take it all the way apart unless I can put tit back together enough to start and drive it tomorrow. Thank you in advance for all your suggestions. James

I am guessing it may be the brake switch and I have located it. WOW what a mutha to get to. I think I can get it out as it has a 7mm bolt holding it in. But how I am getting that thing back in is a mystery!
