I've never heard of a good, reliable automotive webring, I just wish I could find people interested.  People, I think are afriad of being in a webring, becuase think of sites that have a strong webring following, the only I can think of is science fiction and gaming sites.  I can't get one together(I don't have a website of my own), so if any of you know webmaster that have a good site, get them interested, and hunting for other webmasters that like the idea also. I'd be a better internet if there were a few sites you could go to that had links to the best automotive sites in the world.
