I HAVE A '96 TAHOE 2-WHEEL DRIVE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT SOMETIMES IT VERY HARD TO GET IT OUT OF PARK.COULD THIS POSSIBLY BE THE "PARK-NEUTRAL"SWITCH?

More likely a problem with the brake interlock switch

I noticed that my truck does the same thing when I park on an inclined road and I don't use the e-brake

Thats from the whole weight of the vehicle that wants to roll down the hill resting on the parking pawl.

According to the GM service website it could be the parking pawl spring is weak and does not return the pawl to its normal position.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.IT TURN OUT TO BE THE BRAKE INTERLOCK SWITCH.THE PLUG WAS PARTIALLY DISCONNECTED.THANKS AGAIN.
