Anyone running Thornbirds?

Hey there,

Is anyone running Thornbirds?

If yes, how do you like them for BOTH on and offroad?

Are they wearing fine or are they too soft?

Is the noise OK to deal with?

Do yourself a favor and stay away from the Turdbirds. They do look cool, but that is all that they have going for them. They do not perform good on the highway or the trails, they are loud and wear extremely fast. The Turdbirds have to be one of the worst tires ever made.

I have never owned a set, but I've talked to numerous people that have. I actually was going to buy a set several years ago, but was talked out of it by Thornbird owners and tire dealers. I did a lot of research on them and was very dissapointed by what I found.

I agree with the other posts. I've heard an incredible amount of negative reports on them. I've talked to a few on the trails who were running them. Not good. No need to go with a questionable tire when there are so many other good tires to choose from.
