Mobil & Exon's Speed Pass

How many individuals here have a speed pass? I got one and it works great. The only problem is I can only use it when traveling due to the availability of the speed pass at the pump. It is mostly out mid west, down in Florida from what I can tell. Oh and a ton of McDonalds in the Chicago area.

I think it works great and faster than messing with a credit card. Their speed pass watch set up is a great idea, no hassles with your wallet.

They had it down in Singapore when I was there for three weeks. The vehicles had the speed pass in the dash and when you pulled up to the pump a red light came on at the pump telling you it read your speed pass so all you had to do was pump and go. Now that is convinence.

I have the key tag and the vehicle tag. I'm waiting for warmer weather so I can mount the vehicle tag in the new truck. Once it's mounted it'll work like it did for you in Singapore, pull up to the pump, light goes on, pump gas, take receipt and off I go. I've had it for a few years now and I LOVE the convenience.

Next thing you need to do is get the Exxon/Mobil Mastercard and link it to your speedpass. 3% back on all purchases at Exxon or Mobil stations, 1% back on all other purchases, and "rewards" get credited to your next bill. Those are gauranteed %'s back, no waiting to spend a certain amount of money to get that much back. That's how I do all my fuel purchases.

I had it, but then I moved out of the Chicago area. I loved it and quite honestly I miss it. Nothing like just pulling up to the drive through at McDonald's and just seperating your keys and waving that little Speedpass instead of getting the wallet out and getting change back. Same at Mobil also!

I've had it for years. I use it all over the northeast but only for fuel. As for Mobil gas being expensive, I get my gas from one source only. Have had trouble in the past when getting fuel at the lowest price station ie water in the tank etc. Have never had trouble with Mobilor Exxon.
