Park Assist Sensor Replacement

Recommended Posts

I have a 2019 Sierra 1500 AT4 where the parking sensors are malfunctioning and displaying "park assist blocked".  Paid the dealer to do a diagnostic, and they said one of them has malfunctioned and requires replacement.  They want $600 to replace the sensor.  Does anyone have instructions on how to replace a sensor or a lead on 3rd party parts or hints on how to fix / clean the sensor without replacing it?

Thanks

Go online to any GM parts retailer. I use Vans in Arizona I’ve been ordering my OEM parts from them for years however one close to where you are you get better shipping fees. Or you can go on the chevy or GMC app and find your replacement parts dyi. It’s easy and won’t cost $600 I think each sensor runs about $60 just a wild guess I added park assist to my 2020 Silverado. Hope this works for you.
