Next exterior modification

Hey guys,

I need your help. What else can I do to the outside of this truck? I am gonna wait on lifting it. But, I dont know what else to do for right now. Below is a pic of whats done as of right now. The only thing new is the front windows are now tinted. I wanna put a warn brushguard w/ a winch and fogs on the front but I dont want the front end dragging the ground. So, help me out.

I have a brushguard and my front end doesn't sag, although I have had my torsion bars turned up a bit. That would be the next thing I would do!

You could always put a racing stripe down the hood....

OR you could change out that factory grill for something a little more flashy, I have been wanting to do that for a while but can't find a grill I can decide on.

Yeah, I have been looking at grills also. Do ya'll think bed rails or westin tubular step bars would look bad? I would get them in black also.

I have a set of Westins off of a 88-98 that appear to be the right length for the NBS trucks. I have held them up to mine, and they line up with the proper bolts, they just aren't the right height.

You would have to fab up some brackets to make them fit, but they would be cheap!

As far as exterior mods go...I would have to agree with those folks above...Do the grill insert. Then get some cab clearance lights off an an HD.

Then you could always paint your door handles, and tailgate handles to match your truck.

There is always exhaust as well.

If it were mine the first thing I would do is remover the molding on the side of it. If you have to have molding, look into swapping it for the chrome GMC stuff. Couple other mods for you:

Billet grill

Escalade door handles

Wheels

Step bars

Remove the Z-71 decals

I wouldn't do any big front bumpers or winches until you lift it. IMO they look out of proportion unless the truck looks bigger too but they do look good!

Adding the mods is the best part!
