Well this just started today. Truck was running fine, pulled to a stop sign and it just shut off. For a few seconds it did not want to start but once it did it ran fine. Well I went home and put new plugs in it. The old plugs had 20k on them. When I pulled them, 5 of them looked as if the motor was running lean, 3 of them looked as if it was rich, and 1 was very corroded on the wire end(see pic below). Put new plugs in (Autolite copper 25 gapped at .035) and the truck ran fine. Drove it around a bit to make sure it was ok. Once during accelleration it seemed as if I lost all spark for about a second, then it came back. For the rest of the trip home it drove like normal. Tomorrow its gonna get a new cap and rotor, and the ignition module is going to be checked and maybe replaced. What else could cause this?
