PowerTrax installation headache update:

the drivetrain shop I took it to said 100 dollars for 2 hours labor. But they were suprised when they found out I was bringing the ehole truck in when I got there. I'm hoping that 2 hours for 100 is still accurate, becuase if they do this for a job, and can't do it in two hours, they are worse off than these "do-it yourselfs with automotive knowledge" that

PowerTrax state can do it in 2 hours or less. IF they take DO more than 2 hours, what should I do?

If it takes more than 2 hours, they should absorb it.  There are labor rates for most auto repair.  They quote the book for a repair and that's what they charge.  If it takes longer...oh well.  If it doesn't take 2 hours, more profit.  This is pretty much the only way a mechanic can make good money, to beat the quoted time.

My sisters husband is a Mercedes Tech.  He has earned over 24 hours labor in a single 10 hour day.
