Couple questions about 2017 Sierra SLT

Hello everyone,

   I have some questions about my truck, and was hoping someone with more knowledge on here could answer them.

1) When I enter my truck information on Oreilly's website and look at headlights, the only 2 options are HID's.

   Honestly, I didn't realize they were HID. Is there a plug-and-play LED I could use?

      Would you use LED or HID, and why? (I've always been happy with LED's.

         Do you have a suggestion for a 1 stop shop for all automotive lights? I'd like to swap them all out, but don't want to use multiple sources, and would like to see different options.

2) My temperature gauge has not been up to 210 in quite some time. It's colder now and hard to tell but even in late fall last year it was low.

   What could be the cause of this? Thermostat stuck open? Something else?

I say stay with the factory HID's. They are were standard from 2016-2018. Most of the LED's out there are cheap garbage that just die quickly.

 

 

You temp issue is the thermostat, very common failure on these trucks.
