I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 in it. I was changing the thermostat and tore the boot on the air cleaner outlet. I ordered a replacement but in the meantime it started having a hard time starting and running rough and the check engine light came on. I got the new part and replaced it. The check engine light went away but it's still having a hard time starting and it runs like a dog and has a rough idle. Does the air fuel mixture need to be reset somehow?

You can either drive it for a bit longer or have someone erase the legacy codes.
