General Moters states there has been a Power Steering Recall on 2021-03-25 with recall number 21v213000. We bought the vehicle from them a year ago. They delivered the vehicle to you in late March late year.  Our Dealer states that they performed the recall work on the steering over a year ago.  Since they did the work, they state that the work completed only has a one-year warranty. We have not been provided with proof of the work.  But, now our truck has lost all the power steering assistance.  The dealer states that it is over the warrenty period and that we will have to pay the $2,000.00 charge to get it fixed.  Why would GM put crappy parts back on that only last a year?  Is this how Recall work is done?
