go to the truck performance forums and do a search on 6.0 these bad boys bolt right in It is highly recommended to beef up the 4L60E if you do this.

yeah, I've seen one, but they also got a 4L80E with the engine out of a rollover 2500LD. That's the route I'd go. Chris

Yup, that would be the ideal donor driveline. However the 4L80E needs a bit of tweaking to get it in the 1500 chassis.

 

parish8 at ls1tech.com did a write-up on what needs to be modified. If you do a search with his name in the author section, you'll find it.

 

I know the 4L65E out of the SS would be a fit too. But not as strong as the 4L80E.
