Picked up my truck after letting them do this to it. In the year plus that I've owned it the only issue I've had with the radio is an intermittent and infrequent loss of audio, which required a simple Reboot in Safe Mode to address each time. But since picking it up the dash display in front of the wheel, as well as the infotainment screen will no longer show the song that is currently playing on my phone. The service dept. doesn't seem to have a clue as to what is going on. Anyone else experienced this? I did try to reboot the system but that didn't do anything.

Ideas?

I just had this recall update done. My HUD used to show each song title show on the HUD then clear as song started on XM. Just noticed this right after recall was completed. I can’t comment on music from phone. Have not done that in awhile.

Just the HUD display used have XM song titles displayed. Someone on another forum suggested try adding audio info to the DIC display. I recently removed audio info from my DIC. Makes sense so I try that.

Hmmm. I don't use XM, and I don't have a HUD. I know mine "broke" after the update because both displays that I do have used to show me what was playing each time the song changed. Now since the recall "fix" it only shows me what was playing when I first turn the truck on and it doesn't change with the song.

I haven't had the recall done. My hud will temporarily show the new song playing on siriusxm and goes back to the speedometer. I have my instrument cluster set up to display the sing/artist in the maun/center display. That is on all the time. My infotainment is setup for navigation covering the entire display.

I just checked mine again. Set HUD to just speed. When I change channels it shows channel on HUD for moment. Not seeing song titles as yet. I don’t have radio info set on center display. Tried that it made no difference seeing song titles. I’m ok as is. Just thought I remember song titles as well.

Got in my truck today and fiddled around with it. found that if I start a song and then skip to the next song the display does not change, as I've mentioned. But then, if I hit the center of the mute button under the infotainment center the screen (which I leave off), comes on and the volume slider with the X to show mute comes up. If I hit the center of the button again it mutes the song. Hit it one more time and the volume comes back and the display in the dash display changes to the current song. At that point the screen reverts back to the "Display Off" menu choice, and if I select that the screen changes to the clock which is where I keep it.

Alternatively, if I pause the music with my phone, or the infotainment screen, and then start it again the display on the dash and the infotainment center catches up and shows the correct song. Of course I don't want to be fiddling with my phone while driving so if I need to know what's playing I can use the first method. Still requires 3 button presses, but at least it works.
